So, a few weeks back, my best friend was dating this girl that we all thought was going to be different from the others. Oh, boy, were we fooled. She turned around and dumped his ass, telling him all these fucking reasons that made no sense at all, one about him being "too protective" so it's absolutely amazing to me what I have just heard.

After all this spiel about how he wasn't going to give her the time of day again, even though he still liked her. Low and behold, she comes crawling back and asks him to take her back, and what does he do? HE FUCKING TAKES HER BACK. Like an IDIOT. UGH! I am so sick of this fucking shit, and I can't stand to see him go and get himself hurt AGAIN. I was the one telling him that this was a bad idea, and he doesn't even listen. So when she hurts him AGAIN, I'll be standing there over his hunched up body and be telling him "I fucking told you so, you idiot."

That and he has to go and act like a fucking idiot and be like "Are you mad at me?" Oh, I WONDER! Am I? Let's ask the past. Hey, past. Is Sarah mad at Chris for being an effing moron? OF COURSE I'M PISSED! Because this obviously shows how little my advice and friendship mean to him. That I'm just another person to cure his boredom when he has nothing better to do than sit around on his ass and waste his fucking life away. I hate her so much I could scream.

But I'm done. Through. Finished. I can't stand sitting here and worrying about him and whether or not he's okay. I can't be that person anymore. He obviously doesn't care enough. I wish life were easier. I wish he could just show up at my doorstep and tell me that I do mean something to him and that I'm actually worth something. I wish he would notice that I've always been there when all those other people left him for dead. I wish he'd hurry up and realize that his friendship is worth everything to me. There's so much that I want when it comes to him. Like, do I even count as a friend to him? Am I even worth his time?

If he wants to fuck up his life again, he can be my guest. Even though I'm mad at him now, I'm sure I'll get over it. And when he comes crying to me, I'll be there to pick up the pieces /again/. Because, Chris, I've always been there.

You just never noticed.
